Fosirol sachet contains Fosfomycin, an antibiotic used to treat urinary tract infections in women. Infection can be caused due to various susceptible strains of bacteria. Fosirol sachet works by inhi
biting the growth of the bacterial cell wall thus leading to its death. It should not be used in children below 12 years of age. Uses of Fosirol 3 GM
Fosirol sachet is used for the treatment of urinary tract infections (acute cystitis) in women due to susceptible strains of E.Coli and Entreococcus faecalis.

Mode of Action of Fosirol 3 GM
How Does It Work?
Fosfomycin present in Fosirol sachet works by inhibiting the cell wall synthesis of bacteria, which results in killing the bacteria responsible for infection of the urinary tract.
Directions for Use of Fosirol 3 GM
- Fosirol Powder should be taken on an empty stomach either 1 hour before a meal or at least 2 hours after a meal before bedtime and after emptying the urinary bladder.
- Pour the entire contents of a single-dose sachet of Fosirol sachet into a glass of water and stir to dissolve. Do not use hot water. Fosirol sachet should be taken immediately after dissolving in water....

Interactions with other medicines
- Concomitant use of metoclopramide (acidity) decreases the effect of Fosirol sachet.
- Discuss with your doctor about any other medicine, herbal preparation and supplements you are taking currently to avoid any possible drug interactions.

- Store at a temperature below 25°C in a cool dry place.
