Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
- Flutibact ointment contains a combination of two medicines - fluticasone, a steroid medicine, and mupirocin, an antibiotic medicine.
- Fluticasone works by decreasing swelling, itching, and redness by inhibiting the production of a certain chemical in the body.
- Mupirocin is an antibiotic medicine that works by destroying the cell membrane of infection-causing bacteria, which results in the stoppage of the growth of bacteria.
