Contraindications
- If you are allergic to Fluticasone or any other ingredients of Flohale 0.5 mg respules.
- If your child is below 4 years old.
Side effects
- Infection of the mouth and throat
- Sore throat
- Hoarseness (impaired voice)
- Lung infection – fever, cough, breathing problems (uncommon), inform your doctor.
- Joint pain, indigestion, nosebleeds, blurred vision (rare)

Other General Warnings
- You have been treated for tuberculosis in the past.
- You are concomitantly taking other steroid tablets.
- You experience any visual abnormalities or blurred vision.
- Your breathing gets worse or your condition does not improve after 7 days of taking Flohale 0.5 mg respules.
- This medicine is not a substitute for life-threatening asthma (sudden asthma).
- Flohale 0.5 mg respules should not be used in children below 4 years of age.
Directions for Use
- Take Flohale 0.5 mg respules exactly as directed by your physician or pharmacist.
- Read the instructions on the label or leaflet before use.
- Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
- Do not swallow or inject the liquid inside the respule.
- Do not stop taking Flohale 0.5 mg respules without consulting your doctor, even if you feel relieved after taking a few doses.
- Rinse your mouth after every use to prevent fungal infection & wash your face to avoid any facial irritation.
- Throw away any remaining liquid either in the respule or nebuliser, do not store it.
- Clean the nebulizer after every use as per the instructions mentioned.
Storage and disposal
- Store Flohale 0.5 mg respules in the original packing.
- Keep the device tightly closed to protect it from moisture, light and heat.
- Keep it away from children and pets.

Overdose
- High doses of this medicine for a prolonged duration may lead to symptoms like fever, shaking, chills, headache, diarrhoea, cramping, vomiting, muscle weakness, fatigue, loss of appetite, weight loss.
- Seek urgent medical help if you experience any of the symptoms or feel you have used too much of Flohale 0.5 mg respules.

Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Flohale 0.5 mg respules may interact with other medicines. Discuss with your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbal preparations you are taking. Also, inform your doctor if you have a planned surgery or vaccination scheduled.
- Medicines like ritonavir (used to treat HIV infection) should not be used concomitantly along with Flohale 0.5 mg respule unless necessary as it is known to cause some severe side effects.
- Concomitant use of Flohale 0.5 mg respules along with ketoconazole, itraconazole (used to treat fungal infections) and cobicistat-containing medicines should be avoided as you may be at an increased risk of having side effects.
- Other medicines like erythromycin should be used with caution along with Flohale 0.5 mg respules.
