Description
Faslodex 250 mg Injection is an anticancer medicine containing fulvestrant as its active ingredient. It is used to treat post-menopausal women with locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer that is estrogen receptor positive and HER2 negative. It works by acting as an estrogen receptor antagonist, helping to inhibit the growth of cancer cells. Women of childbearing potential should use effective contraception during treatment with Faslodex and for 2 years after the last dose. In that case, it is crucial to contact your doctor right away. These reactions may occur immediately or a few days after the injection. Directions for Use
Storage and disposal
- Keep it in the refrigerator (2°C-8°C).
- Keep the syringe in its original pack, and do not break the seal. Protect it from light.
- Do not use it after the expiry date mentioned on the pack.
- Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
- Do not throw it away in the garbage or flush it down the drain. Ask the pharmacist how to dispose of old medications correctly.
