Eurepa Mf tablet is an oral anti-diabetic medicine used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus. It contains two active ingredients: repaglinide and metformin. Repaglinide is a meglitinide antidiabetic agent, whereas metformin is a biguanide. This combination works in complementary ways to improve blood sugar control in adults whose diabetes is not adequately controlled with diet, exercise, or single-drug therapy. By helping control blood glucose levels, it reduces the risk of long-term diabetes-related complications when used as advised by a doctor.
The most common side effect of Eurepa Mf tablet is hypoglycemia (low blood glucose). It is important to recognize the signs of hypoglycemia, which include sweating, dizziness, headache, and shakiness. Other side effects that may occur while taking this medicine include changes in taste, nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, headache, and upper respiratory tract infections. Some individuals may also experience weight gain while using this medication.
Do not take Eurepa Mf {{df} if you have type 1 diabetes mellitus, diabetic ketoacidosis (high levels of acid in the blood), or severe kidney or liver disease. Before starting this medication, inform your doctor if you have a history of heart disease, as it may not be suitable for you. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before using this medicine.
