Uses of Esomac 20mg Tab 15`S

Esomac 20mg Tab 15`S uses are to treat stomach ulcer, Helicobacter pylori infection (with antibiotics), heartburn and gastritis, and to prevent cancer arising in the oesophagus.

Contraindications of Esomac 20mg Tab 15`S

  • Allergic to this medication.
  • Allergic to medicines containing proton pump inhibitors such as pantoprazole, lansoprazole, rabeprazole and omeprazole.
  • Medicines used to treat HIV.
  • Stomach cancer.

Side effects of Esomac 20mg Tab 15`S

Esomac 20mg Tab 15`S side effects are stomach ache, nausea or vomiting, headache, constipation or diarrhoea with flatulence, allergic reactions, skin rash and some serious but rare side effects of blistering of skin and erosion of nose, mouth, lips and genitals (Steven–Johnson syndrome) and sensitivity to light.
