Description
Esiflo Transhaler is used to manage breathing difficulties associated with asthma. It contains a combination of fluticasone and salmeterol as its active ingredients. You should use Esiflo Transhaler
as directed by your doctor, following the prescribed doses and duration. Do not exceed the recommended dose, and do not stop using this medication without consulting your doctor. Esiflo Transhaler is a combination of two medications: Salmeterol and Fluticasone. Salmeterol is a long-acting bronchodilator that works by relaxing the muscles in the airways, which helps widen them. Fluticasone is a steroid that works by inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers responsible for causing inflammation (swelling) in the airways. Together, these two medications make breathing easier. After using the inhaler, be sure to rinse your mouth with water, and maintain good oral hygiene during treatment with this inhaler. Esiflo Transhaler is used for relieving asthma and COPD symptoms, including coughing, wheezing, breathing difficulty, and chest tightness.
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to fluticasone, salmeterol or any of the other ingredients of Esiflo Transhaler.
- If you have an allergy to milk (lactose intolerance).

Other General Warnings
Talk to your doctor if
- You are diabetic.

- You have low levels of potassium in the blood.
- You are pregnant or planning a pregnancy.
- You are taking any other steroid medicine orally or injectable.

How Does It Work?
Esiflo Transhaler contains the steroid medicine fluticasone, which helps reduce swelling and irritation in the airways. Salmeterol, on the other hand, aids in widening the air passages. Together, these two medications make breathing easier and relieve symptoms such as shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, and wheezing in patients with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)....
Directions for Use

Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Concomitant use of some blood pressure-lowering medicines (propranolol, atenolol, water pills) along with Esiflo Transhaler should be done with caution.
- Medicines to treat fungal and bacterial infections (ketoconazole, itraconazole, erythromycin) and antiviral medicines (ritonavir, cobicistat-containing products) may worsen the side effects if given along with Esiflo Transhaler....
- If steroid tablets or injections are going on, the use of Esiflo Transhaler should be done judiciously as it may add up to side effects.
- Tell your doctor about all ongoing medicines and herbal supplements before you start this treatment.

- Store it in a cool and dry place.
- Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

Missed a Dose
