Medical Description
Erlamide tablet contains apalutamide as its active ingredient. It is a prescription medicine used in adult men with certain types of prostate cancer. Apalutamide belongs to a group of medicines called androgen receptor inhibitors. It works by blocking the action of male hormones (androgens) that can support the growth of prostate cancer cells.
Erlamide tablet is taken by mouth once daily as prescribed by your doctor. Use it with treatment that lowers the amount or effect of male hormones in the body, as appropriate for your condition. Treatment is supervised by a doctor experienced in treating prostate cancer and is usually continued for as long as it is helping control the cancer and the side effects can be managed.
