• If you are allergic to Ebal M tablet or any of the ingredients of this medicine.
• As Ebal M tablet is a combination of different components, any condition which is contraindicated with any of these when taken alone should be considered contraindicated for this combination.

• Headache

• Liver dysfunction
• Rashes
• Fever
• Drowsiness
• Dry mouth

Other General Warnings

• You feel that your asthma or breathing problems are getting worse. You should always keep a rescue inhaler readily available.
• You should be cautious while taking aspirin or other painkillers along with this medicine.
• Some behavioural or mood-related changes may develop in adults or children during the treatment. Be cautious when taking this medicine if these signs occur.
• You have a severe liver problem.
• It should not be given to children under 12 years old.
• You are already taking certain antibiotics to treat fungal infections.

• Take Ebal M tablet as instructed by your doctor.
• Do not change your dose unless your doctor tells you to.
• Try to take it at the same time each day for optimal results.

• Store Ebal M tablet at a temperature below 25°C in a cool, dry place.
• Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

• Ebal M tablet is an anti-allergic medicine. It is used to manage symptoms of allergic rhinitis.
• Take this tablet as prescribed by your doctor, in the same doses and duration as prescribed.
• This medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness in some individuals. Hence, if you experience any dizziness, it is advisable to avoid driving or operating heavy machinery.
• Before starting Ebal M tablet, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Also, inform your doctor about all other medicines that you take and your complete medical history.
• Identify and avoid triggers that cause allergic reactions. For example, if you have pet allergies, avoid contact with pets.
• Stress can exacerbate allergy symptoms, so try to manage stress through relaxation techniques such as yoga, meditation, or deep breathing exercises.

How Does It Work?

• Ebastine works by inhibiting the action of histamine, a natural substance produced by the body during an allergic reaction. It helps alleviate allergic symptoms, including watery eyes, throat irritation, and sneezing.
• Whereas montelukast helps control symptoms by inhibiting the actions of leukotrienes, the natural substances in the body that cause narrowing and swelling of airways in the lungs and lead to symptoms of bronchial asthma.
• The collective action of these two components helps in relieving symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis and asthma.

Interactions with other medicines

• You should be cautious if you are already taking other medications, such as antiepileptic medications like phenobarbital or phenytoin, or medicines to treat high cholesterol levels like gemfibrozil, during treatment with Ebal M tablet.
• Concomitant use with anti-tuberculosis medicines like rifampicin can reduce the concentration of ebastine in blood and ultimately reduce the efficacy of the medicine.
• If certain antibiotics, such as erythromycin, ketoconazole, or itraconazole, and Ebal M tablet have been taken at the same time, then it may increase the level of ebastine in blood serum. The doctor may change the dose accordingly.
• Clarithromycin, an antibiotic and Ebal M tablet is not recommended to be taken together.
• Some medicines can affect the way Ebal M tablet works, or Ebal M tablet itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
• Tell your doctor about all the medications, supplements, or herbal supplements you are currently taking or may take to avoid any potential interactions.
