Duvadilan Retard 40mg Cap has isoxsuprine, which is a vasodilating agent and is used to increase blood flow in the blood vessels.

Uses of Duvadilan Retard 40mg Cap

Doctors prescribe Duvadilan Retard 40mg Cap for the prevention of premature labour by relaxation of smooth muscles of the uterus. It is also used for the treatment of bleeding conditions like cerebral vascular insufficiency (where there is less blood flow to the brain), arteriosclerosis, thromboangiitis obliterans (an inflammatory disease of the blood vessels such as Buerger disease), and Raynaud’s disease (reduced blood flow to toes/fingers in cold surroundings).

Side effects of Duvadilan Retard 40mg Cap

Duvadilan Retard 40mg Cap side effects are nausea, vomiting, nervousness, weakness, dizziness, rash, hives, difficulty in breathing, tightness in the chest, swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue, chest pain, fast or irregular heartbeats, increase in heart rate of the mother and baby during pregnancy, and decrease in calcium, glucose, and blood pressure in babies whose mothers used this medicine.
