Contraindications
- Allergy – The medication is not recommended for known allergies to duloxetine or other active ingredients present in this formulation.
- Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors - The medication is not recommended for patients on monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI). It may increase the risk of severe and life-threatening side effects from the medication. If the medicine needs to be taken urgently, the patient should maintain a time gap of at least 14 days between stopping the therapy with MAOIs and starting the Dulex 20 mg capsule.
- Narrow-Angle Glaucoma – The medication is not recommended for patients with a history of narrow-angle glaucoma since it may worsen the patient’s condition.
- Before taking Dulex 20mg Capsule, you should inform your doctor, especially in a kidney disorder or a heart or liver condition. The patient with a history of seizures (fits or epilepsy) shouldn’t take the medication. In case of any unusual mood changes or behavioural changes, worsening of depression or new depression, or in case of suicidal thoughts, inform your doctor immediately

- You have Liver disease. There is a need for dose adjustment of Dulex 20mg Capsule in case of Liver related complications. Consult your doctor in case of such a situation.
Directions for Use
- Take the medication as advised by your doctor. Dulex 20mg Capsule can be taken either with or without food. It is recommended to take the medication at a fixed time every day.

Interactions with food items
- You can take Dulex 20 mg capsule either with or without food. It is vital not to skip any doses and finish the complete treatment course even when feeling better. The medication should not be stopped suddenly as this can worsen your symptoms.
