Interactions with other medicines
- Ondansetron may interact with Phenytoin, carbamazepine, and rifampicin to decrease the blood plasma concentration
- Ondansetron may reduce the analgesic action of tramadol
- Ondansetron may also interact with apomorphine
- Use of ondansetron with anthracyclines (doxorubicin, daunorubicin or trastuzumab), antibiotics (erythromycin or ketoconazole), antiarrhythmics (amiodarone), and beta-blockers (atenolol or timolol) may cause an increase in the heartbeat
