Dolo 1 G Description

Dolo Infusion is a medicine used for relieving pain and reducing fever. It contains paracetamol. Dolo is used in short term treatment of pain especially after surgery and for fever when medicines can

not be taken orally by the patient. Paracetamol works by interfaring with release of certain natural chemical substance (prostaglandins) and relieves pain & fever. This Infusion is given under medical supervision in a helthcare set up. Tell your doctor about your complete medical history befor taking this injection.

Uses of Dolo 1 G

Dolo Infusion is used for short term treatment of pain especially post operative pain and fever when oral adminstration is not possible.

  • If you have serious liver disease or dysfunction.

Can I take Dolo Infusion during pregnancy?
Dolo Infusion can be used during pregnancy if the doctor recommends. Yet, it should be used for a short duration in low doses and should not be used too frequently by pregnant women.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Dolo Infusion while breastfeeding?
Paracetamol passes into breastmilk in small amount. Dolo Infusion can be used during breastfeeding, if advised by your treating doctor.


Can I drive if I have taken Dolo Infusion?
Paracetamol is not likely to affect your ability to drive or use machines.


Can I consume alcohol with Dolo Infusion?
It is advised not to consume alcohol during the treatment. Especially if you have an existing liver condition and you drink too often.
