Interactions with other medicines
- Sodium and lithium clearance in the kidneys may be increased when Dextrose and Sodium Chloride Injection is administered, resulting in lower serum lithium concentrations
- Chlorpropamide, clofibrate, and narcotics may stimulate vasopressin release when given with this injection
- NSAIDs, cyclophosphamide potentiates the vasopressin action, which increases the risk of hyponatremia
