- If you have porphyria (blood haemoglobin disorder)

- You have an allergic reaction to Dizeral CP.
- You have severe side effects which don't ease or go away in a few days.

- You feel symptoms of depression.
- You have very low blood pressure consistently.
Directions for Use
- Dizeral CP is an oral tablet to be swallowed whole with water on an empty stomach.
- The doctor will decide the appropriate dosage of this medication based on the patient's age, weight and general medical history.
- Care should be taken to have the medication at the same time every day.
- Abruptly stopping Dizeral CP is not advised as it may cause reverse symptoms.
- Do not change or increase the dose by yourself. Take advice from your doctor if you wish to stop the medication or if it does not seem to help.

Interactions with other medicines
- Phenobarbitone
- Carbamazepine
- Fluoxetine
- Cimetidine
- Quinidine
- Atropine
- Chlorpromazine
- Dizeral may cause an interaction if consumed with any of the medicines mentioned above. The interaction between these two medicines can cause an adverse effect on the body. Additionally, in some cases, these medicines interact with each other decreasing the effectiveness of either.
Interactions with food items
- Alcohol is prohibited while on treatment with Dizeral CP. Alcohol increases the severity of side effects.
- No other food interactions have been reported to cause severe reactions with Dizeral CP.
