Uses
- The following are the conditions in which you can take Dilna 30mg Tab 10'S:
- Depression
- Anxiety disorder
- Pains associated with diabetic neuropathy, and fibromyalgia
- Neuropathic pain
- Muscular pain with osteoarthritis
- Stress incontinence (a condition where a person is unable to tolerate or hold their urine, in sudden movements of coughing, lifting heavy things/objects, sneezing, etc.)
Contraindications
- Dilna 30mg Tab 10'S is contraindicated in the following cases:
- If you have any heart diseases like arrhythmia (irregular heartbeats), coronary artery disease, etc.
- If you have any respiratory disorders like COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), upper lung infection, asthma, etc.
- If you are breastfeeding an infant
- If you have liver disease or hepatotoxicity of the liver (liver inflammation/swelling)
- If you are pregnant or plan to get pregnant
- If you have a known allergy to Paracetamol or Tramadol
- If you have kidney disease
- If you have been diagnosed with any brain disorders (e.g. seizures or epilepsy)
- If you have a history of alcohol dependence or substance abuse
- If you are a child under 12
Side effects
- The following side effects occur when a person starts to take Dilna 30mg Tab 10'S:
- Chills
- Nausea
- Dryness in the mouth (Xerostomia)
- Abdominal pain
- Dehydration
- Sleepiness
- Epistaxis (bleeding from the nose)
- Hot flashes (sudden episodes of a feeling of extreme heat in the body)

- You are a chronic alcohol user.
- You are trying to conceive.
- You are breastfeeding an infant.
- Your side effects are persistent for longer than the usual time

- Your occupation requires extreme mental focus or the operation of heavy machinery.
- You start having negative feelings and suicidal thoughts.
Directions for Use
- Do not crush, bite or chew the medicine.
- Swallow it in its original form with a glass of water.
- Take it at a fixed time, every day.
- Do not take any other medicine along with this tablet without consulting a doctor to avoid any adverse events.
- Do not stop the Dilna 30mg Tab 10'S suddenly, even after you start feeling better, because sudden withdrawal of this medicine may worsen the disease.
- Do not miss any dose; follow a strict regimen.
- Eat lots of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables to maintain a healthy body.

Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Inform your doctor if you are taking any other form of medicine, any homoeopathic form of medicine or herbal remedies, as interactions between these and Dilna 30mg Tab 10'S can be harmful to health.
- Medications for ocular hypertension like betaxolol; interactions can lead to blurred vision or, in extreme cases, loss of vision
- Medicine for heart diseases like valsartan. Interactions amongst these can cause irregular heartbeats and might even lead to heart attack or heart failure.
- Interaction with antidepressant medications such as Citalopram can cause decreased effectiveness of both medicines.
- Interaction with medicine for hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) can cause an irregular blood sugar level, which can cause serious health complications.
- Medication for Bipolar disorder like lithium can interact with this medicine and cause an increase in side effects like nausea, chills, etc.
Interactions with food items
- Since Dilna 30mg Tab 10'S is an antidepressant medicine, it can interact with certain foods. Avoid eating too many fried and cheesy foods.
