ess, pain and swelling in the eye and ears or ear. This medicine is used to treat bacterial eye and ear and ear infections. Deximon P Eye/Ear Drop should be used in the correct dose and for the exact duration as prescribed by your doctor. Complete the course given by your doctor. If you find any discomfort after using this medicine or there is no improvement in your condition after using this medicine, then immediately inform your doctor.

Contraindications of Deximon P E/E Drops 5ml
- If you are allergic to any component of Deximon P Eye/Ear Drop.
- If you have varicella, herpes, HIV, tuberculosis or any other viral or fungal infection of the eye and ear.

How Does It Work?
- Deximon P Eye/Ear Drop are a combination of two antibiotics (Polymyxin B and Chloramphenicol) and one steroid medicine (Dexamethasone).
- Antibiotics kill the bacteria and control the infection, while the steroid component of Deximon P Eye/Ear Drop reduces the redness, pain, swelling and discomfort caused due to the infection.
Directions for Use of Deximon P E/E Drops 5ml
- Use Deximon P Eye/Ear Drop as instructed by your doctor.
- Follow the directions carefully & do not miss any dose.
- Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying.
- Wipe any excess medicine from your face with the help of a tissue.
- Use the exact amount of drops as prescribed.

Interactions with other medicines
- Since Deximon P Eye/Ear Drop is to be used externally, it is less likely to interact with other medicines. However, consult your doctor if you are taking other medicines for treating other health conditions....
- Especially if you are already using any other eye or ear drops.
- Concomitant use of Deximon P Eye/Ear Drop with atropine or phosphate-containing eye and ear medicines should be done with caution.
- Medicines such as Phenytoin, Phenobarbitone, Ephedrine and Rifampicin may reduce the effect of Ocupol DX Drops.
- Deximon P Eye/Ear Drop can reduce the action of salicylate medicines.

- Store Deximon P Eye/Ear Drop in a cool and dry place.
- Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
- Discard any unused medicine safely.
Dosage of Deximon P E/E Drops 5ml
Overdose
As Deximon P Eye/Ear Drop is meant for external application, cases of an overdose are unlikely. However, upon accidental ingestion, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital. If you have applied extra quantities of it, then wash/wipe out the excess of the medicine with a tissue or cotton....
Missed a Dose
If you have missed instilling Deximon P Eye/Ear Drop, then instil it as soon as possible. Do not over-instil this medicine just to compensate for the missed application.
