Deximon P Eye/Ear Drop should be used in the correct dose and for the exact duration as prescribed by your doctor. Complete the course given by your doctor. If you find any discomfort after using this medicine or there is no improvement in your condition after using this medicine, then immediately inform your doctor.

If you are allergic to any component of Deximon P Eye/Ear Drop.
If you have varicella, herpes, HIV, tuberculosis or any other viral or fungal infection of the eye and ear.

Mode of Action of Deximon P E/E Drops 5ml

How Does It Work?

Deximon P Eye/Ear Drop are a combination of two antibiotics (Polymyxin B and Chloramphenicol) and one steroid medicine (Dexamethasone).
Antibiotics kill the bacteria and control the infection, while the steroid component of Deximon P Eye/Ear Drop reduces the redness, pain, swelling and discomfort caused due to the infection.

Use Deximon P Eye/Ear Drop as instructed by your doctor.
Follow the directions carefully & do not miss any dose.
Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying.
Wipe any excess medicine from your face with the help of a tissue.

Concomitant use of Deximon P Eye/Ear Drop with atropine or phosphate-containing eye and ear medicines should be done with caution.
Medicines such as Phenytoin, Phenobarbitone, Ephedrine and Rifampicin may reduce the effect of Ocupol DX Drops.
Deximon P Eye/Ear Drop can reduce the action of salicylate medicines.
