Dewgel A suspension is used to relieve acidity, heartburn, acid reflux, gas-related discomfort and pain from irritation in the stomach or food pipe. It contains a combination of magaldrate, simethicone and oxetacaine. Magaldrate neutralises excess stomach acid, simethicone helps trapped gas bubbles join and pass more easily, and oxetacaine temporarily numbs irritated tissues to ease burning pain. Dewgel A suspension is taken by mouth after shaking the bottle and measuring the liquid, as advised. It may provide symptom relief but does not replace assessment of persistent or severe digestive symptoms.
