Dapamac V Tablet is an anti-diabetic medicine. It is used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus in individuals whose blood sugar levels are not adequately controlled by metformin alone. Dapamac V Tablet

contains a combination of vildagliptin and dapagliflozin as active substances. Take this medicine in the exact dose and duration as directed by your doctor. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own. Before using Dapamac V Tablet, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, breastfeeding, and about your complete medical history. Also, inform about all the medicines and supplements that you take. It is recommended that you make certain lifestyle modifications like exercising regularly, having a balanced diet, avoiding alcohol, and quitting smoking while taking Dapamac V Tablet for better control of your blood sugar levels.

How Does It Work?

Dapamac V Tablet contains a combination of vildagliptin and dapagliflozin as active substances.
Vildagliptin indirectly increases the activity of certain chemicals in the body that increase the levels of insulin after a meal.

Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water.
Do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
Do not take more than the prescribed dose.

Interactions with other medicines

Some medicines can affect the way Dapamac V Tablet works or this medicine itself may interfere with the working of other medicines.
Inform your doctor about all other medicines, herbs or supplements that you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
The use of Dapamac V Tablet with diuretics like furosemide and hydrochlorothiazide (used to manage fluid accumulation) may increase the risk of dehydration and low blood pressure.
This medicine, when used together with insulin and insulin secretagogues (sulphonylurea), may cause extremely low blood sugar levels.
Dapamac V Tablet taken along with ACE inhibitors may increase the risk of angioedema (painless swelling under the skin).
