Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Danazol interferes with the efficiency of warfarin and prolongs the time taken for the blood to clot
- Danazol may cause resistance to insulin
- Danazol increases blood levels of carbamazepine, cyclosporin, and tacrolimus
- Danazol can increase the calcaemic response of Synthetic Vitamin D supplements
- Concomitant use of atorvastatin, lovastatin, and simvastatin can increase the risk of myopathy or rhabdomyolysis
