Crizalk 250 capsule is used to treat non-small cell lung cancer that is either locally advanced or has spread to other areas of the body. It can be taken with or without food, but try to take it at the same time every day to gain the most benefits.
Common side effects of this medication include nausea, vomiting, edema (swelling), and diarrhea. Some serious side effects that require medical consultation include severe stomach pain, fever, chills, shortness of breath, a rapid heartbeat, partial or complete loss of vision, or changes in bowel habits.
Before starting this medication, inform your doctor if you have heart disease, liver or kidney problems, or if you are taking any medication for infections. Many other medications may interact with this medicine, so inform your healthcare team about all the medications you are using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. It is important for both males and females to use effective contraception during treatment to prevent pregnancy.
