Colospa retard capsule is an antispasmodic medicine. It contains mebeverine as the active ingredient. It works by relaxing the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract. Colospa retard capsule is

used to treat irritable bowel syndrome, a condition characterized by bloating, abdominal pain, gas constipation and/or diarrhoea. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to mebeverine or you are breastfeeding. Take this medicine in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Take it with sufficient amounts of water.
