Clonex 0.5 mg tablet belongs to the sedatives and hypnotics class of drugs. It contains clonazepam as its active ingredient. It is used to treat anxiety and convulsions (fits). However, it is also us

ed to treat side effects of medicines like akathisia (feeling of restlessness) and catatonic reactions (abnormal and uncontrollable movements of limbs). Clonex 0.5 mg tablets should be taken at a dose and for a duration as prescribed by your doctor. It can cause addiction; hence the prescription should be strictly followed. Try to take medicine at a fixed time each day. If you have missed a dose, you should take it as soon as you remember it. However, don't take two doses at a time to compensate for the missed dose. Some of this medicine's most common side effects are fatigue, decreased sexual desire, dizziness, confusion, and impaired coordination. Most of the side effects are mild and should not disrupt your day-to-day life. If you experience difficulty breathing, hoarseness in voice, rash, and swelling of eyes, face, and lips, you should immediately inform your doctor. Clonex 0.5 mg tablets should not be combined with food items like grapefruit juice or caffeine. You should inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking to prevent adverse interactions between the medicines.
