Ciplar LA 20 tablet is used for the treatment of heart-related chest pain (angina), high blood pressure and irregular heartbeats. It is also used to protect the heart after a heart attack. Ciplar LA 20 tablet contains propranolol as its main component. It works by relaxing the blood vessels, which slows down the pulse, thus improving the blood flow and decreasing the blood pressure.
Ciplar LA 20 tablet should be taken in the exact dose and duration as directed by the doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own. Before taking Ciplar La 20 tablet, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding. Also, inform about all the medicines and supplements you take and about your medical history before starting Ciplar La 20 tablet.
