Candiderma + cream is a topical antimicrobial and steroid medicine. It is used for the treatment of various skin conditions such as itching, allergies, redness, and inflammation caused due to bacteri
al or fungal infections. It is also used in the treatment of ringworm infection, athlete's foot, and tinea infections. Candiderma + cream is a combination medicine containing beclomethasone, clotrimazole, and neomycin as active components. Beclometasone is a steroid and has anti-inflammatory properties, neomycin is an antibacterial agent, and clotrimazole is an antifungal agent. This medicine is meant only for external application. It should be applied exactly as recommended by your doctor. You should always clean the affected area and pat dry the region before applying the medicine. Wash your hands before and after each application. It is recommended to complete the entire course of treatment. Before using this medicine, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history. Candiderma + cream should not be used for children below 12 years.

- Candiderma + cream is a combination medicine containing beclomethasone, clotrimazole, and neomycin as active components.
- Beclomethasone is a steroid that acts by blocking the synthesis of a natural substance called prostaglandin responsible for itching, swelling, and redness.
- Clotrimazole works by inhibiting the formation of a fungal cell wall component which leads to altered permeability and prevention of growth of infection-causing fungus.
- Neomycin is an antibiotic agent which is used for treating various bacterial infections on the skin. It works by preventing the growth and multiplication of bacteria causing the infection.
- Collectively all these medicines work effectively by reducing the infection and inflammation of the skin.
Directions for Use of Candiderma Plus Tube Of 10gm Cream
- Use Candiderma + cream as directed by your doctor.
- It is meant for external use only.
- Apply it on the skin surface free from cuts and wounds.
- Wash your hands before and after using this medicine unless you are using this medicine to treat your hands.
- Apply it in a thin film covering the infected area and let it get absorbed.
- Avoid touching the tip of the container directly to the infected area of the skin.
- In case your eyes come in contact with this medicine, rinse your eyes with clean water immediately.

Interactions with other medicines
- Candiderma + cream is meant for external application on the skin and thus is less likely to interact with other medicines taken orally.
- However, it may interact with other topically applied medicine. Discuss with your doctor if you are already on another topical medicine.
- Candiderma + cream can damage the surface of physical contraceptives. Thus an alternative contraceptive measure should be considered during the treatment and after 5 days of the treatment.
- Other medicines like ritonavir, cidofovir, cisplatin, amphotericin B, painkillers like ibuprofen, and antibiotics like amikacin, tobramycin, rifampin, and rifabutin should be used cautiously.
