Calcium Sandoz Injection contains Calcium Gluconate as its active ingredient. It is used as a nutritional supplement where the intake of calcium from food is inadequate. It is also used for the treat

ment of calcium deficiency in certain medical conditions involving bone loss, weak bones, certain muscle problems etc. It works by increasing calcium level in the blood. It also binds to potassium or magnesium if they are present in excess in blood. Constipation, stomach upset, chalky taste, tingling sensation are some of the side effects of using this medicine. If side effects do not go away on their own or your condition doesn't improve over time then inform your doctor.
