Cabliz Tablet contains cabergoline as its active ingredient. It is used to treat high levels of prolactin in your body. Cabliz can also be used in stopping breast milk after childbirth, stillbirth, a

bortion, or missed pregnancy. This medicine should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. It should be taken with or after having your meals. This medicine is not recommended for use in children below 16 years of age.

Uses of Cabliz 0.5 MG

Cabliz Tablet is used for the treatment of high levels of prolactin hormone in your body.
It can also be used in stopping breast milk production immediately after abortion, stillbirth, childbirth, or missed pregnancy.

Contraindications of Cabliz 0.5 MG

If you are allergic to cabergoline or any other ingredients of Cabliz Tablet.
If you are allergic to other medicines known as ergot alkaloids (ergotamine, lisuride, pergolide, ergometrine, bromocriptine).
If you are taking medicines to treat your mental health (risperidone, quetiapine, olanzapine, etc). If you are not sure what these medicines are, please confirm with your doctor.
If you have problems with your liver.
If you are pregnant and have uncontrolled high blood pressure, combined with swelling and protein in the urine.
If your doctor has told you that the tissues in your stomach, heart, or lungs have become damaged and scarred.
If you have a history of psychosis after childbirth.
If you are taking this medicine for a prolonged duration and experience any problems related to your heart valves.
If you are a pregnant woman or breastfeeding mother.

Pregnancy

Can I take Cabliz Tablet during pregnancy?

There is limited information about the effect of Cabliz Tablet during human pregnancy. Your doctor will give you this medicine only after assessing the benefits and risks. If you get pregnant while on treatment, this medicine should be discontinued immediately.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Cabliz Tablet while breastfeeding?

Cabliz Tablet should not be used by breastfeeding women as it stops or suppresses breast milk production. Consult the doctor before using this medication while breastfeeding.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Cabliz Tablet?

Cabliz Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, and may also blur your vision. If you experience any such effects after taking this medicine that may affect your ability to drive safely, it is suggested to avoid driving.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Cabliz Tablet?

You should avoid consuming alcohol while taking Cabliz Tablet, as it may worsen the side effects such as dizziness and drowsiness.

How Does It Work?

Cabliz Tablet works by blocking or reducing the release of a hormone in the brain called prolactin that stimulates breast milk production.

Directions for Use of Cabliz 0.5 MG

Cabliz Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor.
Swallow it whole with a glass of water.
It should preferably be taken with or after food.
It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results.
Do not consume more than the dose prescribed by your doctor.

Interactions with other medicines
