Medical Description

Beritol Max tablet is a nutritional supplement which support metabolic and reproductive health. Each tablet contains berberine together with myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol, alpha-lactalbumin, chromium picolinate and L-methylfolate. Berberine is a plant-derived alkaloid found in plants (Berberis species). Inositol occurs naturally in the body and is also found in foods such as fruits, beans and grains. The tablet also contains melatonin which may help regulate the body's sleep-wake cycle. Because melatonin can cause sleepiness, the timing of the tablet is important, and you should avoid driving or operating machinery if it makes you sleepy, dizzy or less alert. Beritol Max is a nutritional supplement and should not be considered a substitute for a balanced diet, regular exercise or any treatment advised by your doctor. It should be used as directed by your healthcare professional or according to the product instructions. Berberine may interact with some medicines which can alter the effects or levels of certain medicines. Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all prescription medicines, over-the-counter medicines and other supplements you take before starting Beritol Max.

Uses

  • Nutritional supplementation in women, when advised by your doctor alongside the management of polycystic ovary syndrome.
  • Dietary supplementation of myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol.
  • Supplementation of folate and chromium.
  • Use when your doctor has advised nutritional support that includes melatonin.
