Description
Bactral Powder 35gm is an oral rehydration salt (ORS) based on the WHO formula. It is used for restoring fluids and electrolytes in the body that are lost due to dehydration during diarrhoea and vom
iting or other conditions. It contains a combination of salt and sugar (sodium citrate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride and dextrose). The combination of electrolytes and sugar stimulates water and electrolyte absorption from the gut. It, therefore, prevents or reverses dehydration and replaces lost salts in conditions such as diarrhoea and vomiting. - Use water only to prepare the solution, do not add Bactral Powder 35gm to milk, soup, fruit juice or any soft drinks.
