Atraz 1 MG Description

Atraz tablet helps treat early breast cancer in postmenopausal women along with other treatments such as radiation and surgery. Atraz tablet is also useful as a first-line treatment in advanced breas

t cancer. Anastrozole is the active ingredient of the Atraz tablet. Atraz tablet works by decreasing the oestrogen/ female hormone necessary for the growth and spread of breast cancer. Thus, it relieves the symptoms of cancer, such as lumps in the breast or changes in the shape of the breast. *Breast cancer: Breast cancer is a condition wherein the breast cells grow out of control. It can also spread outside the breast and needs immediate treatment. *Postmenopausal: Menopause is the time when a woman’s periods have stopped permanently. It is a natural ageing process that women go through when they are around 52 years. In some women, it might happen when they are in their 40s; others might enter menopause a little later. *Radiation treatment, also known as radiotherapy, is one of the cancer treatments. Here, a high dose of radiation passes through the area of cancer. The rays destroy the cancerous cells, shrink the cancer tumour and prevent further cancer growth.
