• If you are allergic to salbutamol or any of its constituents.
• If you have a history of premature labour or miscarriage.

Other General Warnings

• You have any kind of heart or blood vessel-related disease.
• You have low potassium levels in the blood and in the case of overactivity of the thyroid gland.
• You are diabetic because sometimes it can increase the blood sugar level if taken along with antidiabetic medicines. Your doctor may need to adjust the dose accordingly.
• It is advisable to strictly avoid smoking during the medication as it is known to worsen breathing problems.

• This medication needs to be inhaled by mouth as directed by your physician/doctor.
• Shake the canister before use.
• The canister needs to be test sprayed in the air if you are using this medication for the first time, if it is unused for more than 2 weeks or if the canister was dropped.
