Uses
- As per CDSCO, Armod tablets are used in the treatment to improve wakefulness in patients.
- This medicine is helpful in patients with excessive sleepiness associated with conditions like obstructive sleep apnea, shift work sleep disorder and narcolepsy.

Directions for Use
- Take the Armod tablet exactly as prescribed by the doctor.
- You can take this tablet with or without eating the food.
- Do not exceed the dosage of Armod tablets, even if you cannot feel its effects.
- Take it only in the morning.
- Take Armod tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
- Do not chew or break it into pieces.
- Do not take Armod tablets with other medications without informing your doctor.
- Do not take if the package of Armod tablet has been opened.

Immediately seek emergency medical treatment from a hospital nearby.

Interactions with other medicines
- Do not take Armod tablets with any medications that may increase blood pressure. It can lead to a serious rise in blood pressure.
- Armod tablets can reduce the effectiveness of oral birth control pills. While using this medicine, use different types of contraceptives like condoms.
- Do not take medicines that contain Modafinil as its ingredient. It is very similar to this medicine and can lead to overdose and excessive side effects.
- While using this medicine, do not take medication that causes excessive drowsiness like allergy medicines, cold or caught medicines, sleeping pills, etc. It can cause unwanted effects.
Interactions with food items
- Armod tablets do not have any known interactions with most of the food varieties.
- Avoid drinking caffeine products. Caffeine can increase the severity of the side effects of Armod tablets.
- Try not to eat an excessive amount of chocolate.
