Amoxy Capsule is an antibiotic medicine. It contains Amoxicillin as its active ingredient. It is used to treat various bacterial infections such as infection of the lungs, airways, tonsils and throat
, skin infections and urinary tract infections. It is not effective against viral infections such as flu and the cold. Antibiotics should not be used when not required or when you are not sure if the infection is due to bacteria because this can make it ineffective for future treatment. Complete the course of antibiotics as prescribed by the doctor or it may lead to relapse or return of the infection.

- If you are allergic to Amoxicillin or any other components of this medicine.
- If you have a history of any allergic reactions to Penicillins or Cephalosporins.
- If you have a glandular fever which is caused by the Epstein–Barr virus.

- You experience watery or bloody diarrhoea, fever, even if this occurs days after stopping this medicine, immediately consult a doctor.

- Amoxy Capsules should be taken as directed by the doctor.
- Swallow it with a glass of water, do not cut, break or chew it.
- Do not consume it more than the prescribed quantity.
