Altonil Plus tablet is a prescription medication used for treating anxiety disorders and sleep behaviour disorders. The active ingredients of Altonil Plus tablets include melatonin and clonazepam. Me

latonin regulates the sleep cycle by causing drowsiness. Clonazepam reduces the neurological activity in the brain by increasing certain chemical messengers, which produce a calming effect. Some of the common side effects of Altonil Plus tablets are excessive drowsiness, tiredness, lightheadedness, etc. It can cause some behavioural changes and increase the tendency of suicidal thoughts. Long-term use of this medicine can cause physical dependency. So, it is essential to monitor the dosage and use it only for a short duration, as advised by the doctor. Always follow the directions of use of Altonil Plus tablets. Do not suddenly stop using this medicine as this can cause withdrawal symptoms like sweating, nausea, muscle pain, sudden muscle twitchings, etc. Anxiety and other mood disorders affect feelings and quality of life. While there are no definite reasons known, common triggers like stress, trauma, etc., can aggravate these conditions.
