Missed a Dose

If a scheduled injection is missed, contact the child's treating team promptly. If you missed any dose of medicine, take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.

How does this medicine work?

Corticotropin stimulates the body's adrenal system and changes signals involved in inflammation and seizure disorders. It can help reduce infantile spasms when given under specialist care.
