Desirox Tablet is used to treat iron overload due to blood transfusion in patients two years of age or older. Excessive iron in the blood can cause tissue damage and lead to medical problems like hea

rt disease, diabetes, thyroid disorders, and liver disease. Desirox Tablet contains deferasirox as the active substance that works by trapping iron and lowering its blood levels. Desirox Tablet may cause kidney problems, liver problems, or stomach/intestinal bleeding. Talk to your doctor if you or your child develop any side effects. Desirox Tablet should be taken before food at the same time each day to get maximum benefits. Take this medicine at the exact dose and duration recommended by our doctor. Desirox Tablet traps the iron and removes it in the stools and/or urine. This reduces the excessive iron in the body and protects the tissues and organs from damage.

Directions for Use of Desirox 500 MG

Take this medicine exactly as recommended by your doctor.
Disperse the tablet in water, orange, or apple juice.
Do not chew the tablet or swallow whole.
Do not consume more than the prescribed dose.
Do not discontinue the medicine on your own without consulting your doctor.
