This medicine is used to widen (dilate) the pupil of the eye in preparation for specific eye examinations. Tropicamide relaxes the muscles of the eyes, so the pupil of the eye does not contract during an eye examination or other diagnostic procedures.

  • Tricyclic antidepressants (e.g., Amitriptyline)
