Terazosin

When should one not use Terazosin

• Do not take this medicine if:
• You are allergic to Terazosin or medicine similar to Terazosin such as Prazosin, Tamsulosin, Doxazosin
• You have heart failure
• You fall or faint during urination

Common side effects of this drug are:

• Dizziness
• Breathing difficulty
• Uneven heart rate
• Fainting on standing position
• Loose motions
• Headache
• Swelling of feet, hands, arms and legs
• Sleepiness
• Nervousness
• Constipation
• Rash or itching over skin
• Chest pain
• Blurred vision
• Backache
• Bleeding or blocked nose
• Sinusitis

Other General Warnings

• You have an intolerance to lactose sugar
• You have heart disease, liver disease or kidney disease
• You are taking medicines for high blood pressure
• You are taking medicines to treat erectile dysfunction, or impotence (Sildenafil, Tadalafil, Vardenafil)
• You are on a salt-restricted diet
• You are dehydrated
• You have insulin-dependent diabetes, high blood pressure causing eye problems
