Molnupiravir

Description

Molnupiravir is an antiviral medicine. It is used for the treatment of Covid-19

disease in adult patients who have a high risk of progression of the disease. The dose, frequency and duration of the treatment are decided by your doctor after accessing your condition. Before initiating treatment with the molnupiravir, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, suffering from any liver or kidney problems or are allergic to it. A person infected with coronavirus should stay in isolation in a well-ventilated space and should follow COVID-19 appropriate behavior to prevent the spread of infection.

If you are allergic to molnupiravir
If your age is less than 18 years
If you are a pregnant women
Molnupiravir should not be used for more than 5 consecutive days
It should not be used for prevention of covid-19 disease

Molnupiravir should not be take by pregnant women in any case. Females of childbearing potential should use a reliable method of contraception correctly and consistently, as applicable, for the duration of treatment and for 4 days after the last dose of this medicine.

Breast Feeding
