How Does It Work?

Interactions

Interactions with other medicines

Chloroquine (malaria), Ketoconazole (for fungal infections), Tetracycline or Doxycycline antibiotics should not be taken 2 hours before or after taking Lanthanum Carbonate
Oral Fluoroquinolone antibiotics (including Ciprofloxacin, 2 hours before or 4 hours after taking this medicine)
Levothyroxine (for an underactive thyroid) should not be taken 2 hours before or after taking Lanthanum Carbonate
