• Osteoarthritis (a condition that causes joint pain and stiffness)
• Rheumatoid arthritis (an autoimmune condition that causes joint pain, swelling, and stiffness)
• Ankylosing spondylitis (arthritis that affects the spine, causing back pain and stiffness)
• Musculoskeletal disorders
• Joint pain and stiffness
• Back pain
• Dental pain
• Ear, nose, and throat pain
• Post-traumatic pain
• Post-operative pain
• Other painful inflammatory conditions where both analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects are required

• Known sensitivity or allergy to aceclofenac, paracetamol, or any ingredient in the medicine
• History of hypersensitivity reactions (e.g., asthma, rhinitis, urticaria) following the use of aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
• Active or recurrent ulcers in the stomach or gastrointestinal bleeding
• Severe heart failure (and use with caution in other cardiovascular diseases)
• Severe liver impairment
• Severe kidney impairment
• Active bleeding disorders

• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Abdominal pain
• Dyspepsia (indigestion)
• Diarrhoea
• Dizziness
• Headache
• Skin rash

Other General Warnings

• You are suffering from lung disorders like asthma, this medicine can worsen it.
• The safety and effectiveness of this medicine in children have not been established. Use only if prescribed by a doctor.
• Use with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal disorders, including ulcerative colitis (inflammation and ulcers in the large intestine) and Crohn's disease.
• Gastrointestinal bleeding, ulceration, and perforation (holes) may occur, particularly in elderly patients and those with a history of peptic ulcer disease.
• Use with caution in patients with mild-to-moderate liver disease; monitoring of liver function may be required.1
• Patients with kidney problems should use this medicine cautiously.
• Long-term or high-dose use may increase the risk of heart attack or stroke, particularly in patients with existing heart disease.

• Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• You can take the medicine with or without food.
• Complete the prescribed course for the best results.

• Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place.
• Protect from excessive heat and moisture.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use the medicine after the expiry date given on the packaging.
• Dispose of unused or expired tablets according to local regulations.

• Take the medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication.
• Do not take other paracetamol-containing medicines unless advised by your doctor.
• Inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers, liver disease, kidney disease, or heart problems.
• Seek immediate medical attention if you notice severe skin reactions or symptoms of liver disease, such as yellowing of the skin or eyes.

Overdose

• Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage depending on the condition being managed, the severity of symptoms, your age, and your overall health status.
• Taking too much of this medicine may result in severe liver damage. If this happens, you may experience symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and sweating. Severe poisoning may lead to liver failure and other serious complications.1 In such cases, contact the doctor immediately.

Missed a Dose

• The active ingredients in this medicine work together in the following ways:
• Aceclofenac blocks cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes, which reduces the production of prostaglandins, thereby reducing pain, inflammation, and swelling.
• Paracetamol exerts analgesic and antipyretic effects by blocking the production of prostaglandins in the brain, thereby reducing pain and fever.

Interactions with other medicines

• Zerodol TH 8 tablet contains a combination of Aceclofenac and Thiocolchicoside. Thus any interaction associated with any one of these can happen with this combination.
• Increased risk of stomach bleeding, if you take other pain killers, steroids, antidepressants like Fluoxetine or Clopidogrel along with this medicine.
• This medicine interferes with the way medicines for high blood pressure works like Enalapril, Captopril and water pill.
• Concomitant use of Cyclosporine and Tacrolimus (used in organ transplant) can lead to serious kidney damage.
• There is an increased risk of bleeding if this medicine is taken along with other medicines like Warfarin.
• You may experience fluctuations in blood sugar if you are taking anti-diabetic medicines like Glimepiride or Metformin.
• Do not take Zerodol TH 8 tablet, if you have taken Mifepristone lately (within 2 weeks).
• This medicine can worsen the heart failure problem if taken with medicine for heart failure like Digoxin.
• You may experience fits if you are taking antibiotics like Ciprofloxacin, Norfloxacin and Ofloxacin.
• Other medicines like Lithium, Methotrexate and Zidovudine.
• Medicines used to treat anxiety and pain like Clonazepam, Zolpidem and Alprazolam.
• Discuss with your doctor about any other medicine, herbal preparation and supplements you are taking currently to avoid any possible interactions.
