Medical Description
Vucef LB tablet is an antibiotic medicine used to treat susceptible bacterial infections involving the lungs, airways, ears, throat, sinuses or urinary system. It contains a combination of cefixime and lactobacillus, a beneficial bacterium included to support the normal balance of intestinal microorganisms during antibiotic treatment. The cefixime component stops susceptible bacteria from building the protective outer wall they need to survive, while lactobacillus supports beneficial intestinal bacteria. Vucef LB tablet is taken by mouth exactly as prescribed and does not treat viral colds.
