Description

Valcyte tablet contains valganciclovir as the main active ingredient. Valcyte tablet belongs to an antiviral group and is used to treat infections caused by viruses. It works by preventing the growth of viruses.

Take Valcyte tablet as directed by your physician. Swallow it whole with a glass of water. It can be taken with or without food. Do not break, crush or chew Valcyte tablet. Side effects of Valcyte tablet include low white blood cell counts, with signs of infection such as a sore throat, mouth ulcers, or fever, and low red blood cell counts. Signs include feeling short of breath or tired, palpitations, or pale skin.
