Medical Description
Urimax T capsule is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia and erectile dysfunction in patients who are already taking Tamsulosin and Tadalafil concomitantly. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis, helping men achieve an erection when sexually stimulated. It should be taken as directed by your doctor, either on an empty stomach or with a meal.
Common side effects of Urimax T capsule may include flushing, headache, blurred vision, muscle pain, stomach upset, and rash. If you experience bothersome side effects or if they do not resolve, consult your doctor.
Urimax T capsule is not intended for use by women, and men should avoid using other medications to treat impotence without consulting a doctor. It is important to avoid taking Urimax T capsule with nitrates, which are often prescribed for chest pain. Do not take this medication if you have severe heart or liver problems, have recently had a stroke or heart attack, or have low blood pressure. Inform your doctor about any health problems you may have before taking Urimax T capsule.
If Urimax T capsule makes you feel dizzy, it is advisable not to drive. It is recommended to avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication, as it can increase the likelihood of experiencing side effects.

Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Some medicines affect how Urimax T capsule works, or the medicine itself reduces the effectiveness of other medicines taken simultaneously.
- Inform your physician about any medicines, supplements, or herbals you are taking or might take to avoid potential interactions.
- You may experience low blood pressure effects such as dizziness and lightheadedness when Urimax T capsule is taken with blood pressure medicines like Verapamil and Diltiazem.
- Medicines like Ketoconazole (used for fungal infections), erythromycin (antibiotic), Cimetidine (used for acidity), and Ritonavir and indinavir (used for HIV infection) increase the elimination of tamsulosin from the body, so they must be used with caution.
- Warfarin (used to prevent blood clotting) speeds up the removal of tamsulosin from the body, thus decreasing its effectiveness.

- Concomitant use of Urimax T capsule with nitrates can lead to severe hypotension (low blood pressure).
