Uniprog tablet is a hormone medicine used for selected female infertility care, absent menstrual periods and hormone replacement therapy for menopausal symptoms. It contains natural micronised progesterone, a female hormone that helps regulate the uterine lining and menstrual cycle. Progesterone prepares the lining for implantation and counterbalances oestrogen's effect on the lining when the uterus is intact. The tablet is taken by mouth whole with water, often with food when prescribed, and only under medical supervision.
