Triptolol 10 mg/40 mg tablet is a combination medicine comprising Amitriptyline and Propranolol. Amitriptyline belongs to the class of tricyclic antidepressants, while Propranolol is a beta-blocker. The primary use of Triptolol 10 mg/40 mg tablets is for the treatment of migraines. This medicine helps reduce the transmission of pain to the brain and helps reduce stress and anxiety.

- Antidepressants (paroxetine, fluoxetine, and fluvoxamine) can increase the side effects of Triptolol 10 mg/40 mg tablets like drowsiness and tremors.
- Antiarrhythmic medicines (quinidine, propafenone, and flecainide) can increase the chances of palpitations.
- Antihistamines (cetirizine and diphenhydramine) can cause impairment in judgement and dizziness.
- Analgesics (codeine) can increase sleepiness and cause changes in consciousness.
- Anti-anxiety medicines (alprazolam, diazepam, and zolpidem) can increase the chances of drowsiness.
- Anticoagulants (aspirin and clopidogrel) increase the chances of bleeding.
- Xanthines (theophylline) can increase the concentration of medicine in the blood.
