Medical Description

Tricloslep oral drop is used in children to help with sleep difficulty or to make a child calm and sleepy before certain medical or surgical procedures when prescribed. It contains triclofos, a sedative medicine that is converted in the body into an active compound affecting brain activity. This calming effect can shorten the time needed to fall asleep and may lengthen total sleep. Tricloslep oral drop is given by mouth only under a doctor's prescription, with the child supervised by an adult and used for the period advised.
