Torsinol 40 Mg Strip Of 10 Tablets
Description
TorSinol 40mg Tablet is a medicine commonly prescribed to help manage high blood pressure and conditions that cause your body to retain excess fluid, such as heart failure, liver problems, or kidney disease. It contains torasemide as the active ingredient, which belongs to a group of medicines known as diuretics or “water pills.”
This medicine works by helping your body eliminate excess salt and water through urine. Reducing excess fluid helps reduce swelling in your legs, ankles, and other parts of your body and makes it easier for your heart to pump blood. It also helps lower blood pressure, which, in turn, reduces strain on your heart and blood vessels and lowers the risk of heart-related complications.
TorSinol 40mg Tablet should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The dose will depend on your medical condition and how your body responds to the treatment. It is usually taken once a day, preferably in the morning, to reduce nocturnal urination. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly without your doctor’s advice, even if you start feeling better.
While taking this medicine, you may notice that you pass urine more often, especially when you first start treatment. This is normal and shows that the medicine is working. However, if you feel dizzy, very weak, or notice signs of dehydration such as dry mouth or extreme thirst, inform your doctor. Drinking enough fluids and following your doctor’s advice on diet and salt intake can help you feel better during treatment.
Always take TorSinol 40mg Tablet under medical supervision. Regular check-ups may be needed to monitor your blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolyte levels. Taking it as directed can help you manage your condition effectively and prevent long-term complications.
