Medical Description
Telma Az tablet is a combination medication that contains azelnidipine and telmisartan as active ingredients. It is used to lower blood pressure and is also used to reduce the risk of heart-related conditions, such as stroke and heart attack. It works by relaxing the blood vessels, inhibiting the action of an enzyme responsible for blood vessel constriction. Telma Az tablet operates by binding to and blocking calcium channels that open in response to voltage in the heart and blood vessels.
Your doctor will determine the dosage and duration of this treatment after carefully assessing your condition. Hypertension, or high blood pressure, is a critical health issue that, if not properly managed, can impact other organs or lead to additional health complications.
For effective blood pressure control, it is essential to take your medication regularly and on time and implement certain lifestyle changes. These include staying active, consuming a nutritious diet low in salt and fat, avoiding smoking, and limiting alcohol intake. Consult your doctor for detailed advice, and he may suggest what will suit you best.
