Description
T Mate Tablet is an anti-epileptic medicine. It contains topiramate as the active substance. It is used for the management of epilepsy/fits. Epilepsy is a brain disorder that causes a temporary fault
in the brain's electrical activity. This causes people to have seizures and convulsions. T Mate Tablet is also used to prevent migraine headaches in adults. It works by stopping the abnormal excitation of brain cells in a part of the brain or the whole brain and, in turn, stops the generation of seizures. Take this medicine in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own. Before starting T Mate Tablet, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history.

- T Mate Tablet should be taken exactly as directed by your doctor.
- Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water.
- Do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
- It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results.
- Do not consume more than the dose prescribed by your doctor.

Interactions with other medicines
- Some medicines can affect the way T Mate Tablet works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
- Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
- Concomitant use of T Mate Tablet with medicines used in brain diseases such as phenytoin or carbamazepine, herbal preparations of St John's wort may decrease the blood concentration of this medicine.
- Taking this medicine with valproic acid can cause a decrease in body temperature.
Storage and disposal of T Mate 25 MG
- Store T Mate Tablet at a temperature not above 25°C in a cool and dry place.
- Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
Dosage of T Mate 25 MG
Overdose
- Symptoms of overdose of T Mate Tablet include sleepiness, blurring of vision, dizziness, low mood, etc.
- If you have taken too much of this medicine then contact your doctor or reach out to the nearest hospital immediately.
Missed a Dose
- If you have missed taking any dose of T Mate Tablet, then take it as soon as you remember.
- If it's already time for the next dose then skip the missed dose and follow the regular dosing schedule.
- Do not take a double dose to compensate for the missed one.
